Rachel Stewart started her career as a graphic designer with a passion for paper and books, along the way she found a path to product design through her intuitive understanding of color and love for shoes. With twenty years of footwear and design experience, she has honed her knowledge of emotional color, took a deep dive into the tactility of material design and found enjoyment in setting seasonal direction through the lens of a brand voice. She knows when color, material and graphics are in sync, they can bring a product to life and spark emotion that is remembered.
Rachel lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, Grant, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Stewart. When not with family and friends (or in a pilates class), she can be found in her studio making and writing.
